influences

For my website I was heavily influenced by the layout of the DA MAN website as it used a variety of methods common across fashion websites such as: The masthead containing the fashion brands name, a short preview of the latest magazine issue to entice the audience. Overall the layout is very
user-friendly.

For the layout of my fashion page I used the vogue website as reference as it has a reputation for being a well formatted and user friendly site, and on inspection I liked the layout as it was user friendly, easy to replicate and it complimented the DA MAN layout on the front page of my website.

For my video, I gained inspiration from many different fashion teasers such as the 'Maybelline fashion week live teaser video'. I liked the style of the quick cuts between photos with text layered over and between the pictures. I feel it added a sense of modernism and boldness to the video whilst also making the video look very clean with quick cuts and bold sans-serif fonts.
